Group f11

In 2008 three photographers, starting out on their careers, decided to keep in contact through a blog page in which they could share ideas, post images and ask each other advice. This has since mutated into a web space where those photographers still meet, but so too do their students and other like-minded photographers.

If anybody would like to join all you need to do is email the blog administrator, Emil

April/May's Theme - self portrait

Seeing Paul's mug with a dashing hat gave me the idea for April/May's theme. Self-portraits for the coming month so that we can actually see who's involved in the (now Paul, this means you have to actually take the image, not just think about it this month) .

Looking forward to seeing everyone's faces.

Circle of confusion Article

I have just posted a new article on the Circle of confusion and how to obtain your hyperfocal distance without the aid of a hyperfocal focus scale (on most prime lenses but not found on zooms). I'd love to know what you think and also if there are any comments or suggestions on how to improve it.

You can find the article at http://www.limephoto.co.za/depth_of_field_article.html

Hope it helps

Cheers
