Another photoshop technique I have been playing with a lot lately is panoramic stitching. To this end I have actually invested in an old Shift Lens. This shot, however, was captured using a 28-105mm zoom lens set at 28mm. It consists of three horizontal shots with quite a large overlap between each shot.
My concern is whether the image is too 'dark'. Any comments?

I dont think the image is too dark, and the knitting is pretty flawless, I certainly cant see where it has been joined. Its a cool shot
Thanks Tim :)
I think its too dark, compared to the pictures I've seen you take this is rather bland.
Hmmm, clearly sisters think alike. Jackie sort of says similar things...well actually she said dark, sombre and dreary. Sigh...so much for trying to be moody ;)
Emil, I think it is an awesome shot. Yes, it is perhaps somewhat dark, but that is exactly what makes this image. It does indeed have this dark, sombre and dreary feel over it. And it should have, otherwise it would be just another photo of the berg. So, in my opinion, it is certainly not TOO dark. It is the feel that this image give you that makes this image different. In my opinion: well done for capturing some of the spirit of the berg.
