Group f11
In 2008 three photographers, starting out on their careers, decided to keep in contact through a blog page in which they could share ideas, post images and ask each other advice. This has since mutated into a web space where those photographers still meet, but so too do their students and other like-minded photographers.

Hi Neil,
I'm not sure I like the aircraft pic. It just looks like a bit too blurred and out of focus. I feel like something is missing from it. Sorry, not very helpful crit I know.
The second pic is great, I love the angle and there are lots of flowers in focus, great depth of field.
The third photo is really cool! Capturing a moment like that is fun. I think if the photo was vertical it would have added more depth to the abseil cleaners giving more of an impression that it's high and a long way from solid ground etc.
Hi Neil
Apologies for the extremely late comments. I really like the cosmos and the window cleaners. The airport is either too out of focus, or not enough. My personal preference would have been to keep the water droplets sharp and throw the aircraft o-o-f.
The flowers are really nice and bright. I like the feeling that the viewer is lying amongst them. Are the pinks clipping by any chance?
The window cleaners are by far my favourite. I'd crop the bottom pillars as they distract from the symmetry of the composition. The pillars also 'ground' the cleaners and I'd pefer the feeling that they could be at any level.
Having fun with the new camera then :) Hope to see more street scenes as they emege.
Cheers
E
