Confirm you went Garieping?
I like your dam shot E. The ones I have posted were shot on a belting hot mid day, which was far from ideal but I tried to use the conditions to inform the shot. The panoramic is a stitch of three images shot with a 14mm prime (+/-24mm crop factor) all on a 7D.

Very cool Paul. Was this on the way back from Zim? Oh and confirm, I was a a-Garieping, as I see were you. You know that feeling where you know you should have stayed ten more minutes? We were leaving the dam and the clouds had just gone blood red...thought, nah it's gonna be far too late by the time we hit Bloem. 10 minutes later you are kicking yourself realising you lost THE shot!!!! Hands up whoever's done that before...sigh.
