Hi everyone. Tada, finally I have gotten some sense of this and have started the blog for the time being. Eventually, once I learn some more about html I'll design a proper interactive website (Tim, you mentioned something about donating space? ;)).
As a first shot here is one that was taken two week's ago in Mountain Sanctuary Private Park. The exposure was somewhere around 10 minutes (the battery died on me before the end of the exposure).
As a general guideline, I guess comments can be left either through the comment section, or by posting below the image. Please sign off with your name as I'm unsure whether it will read or not since we all essentailly have the same identity (once the real site is up that'll all change).
Here's to the experiment.

Nice E!
Set the standards high why don't you! I like it a lot. Simple straight forward framing and great balance. I particularly like the colour in the sky, and the fact that it compliments the colours in the rocks and water. Time of day? I am assuming early evening?
Paul.
Actually it was shot around 10pm. the light in the sky was due to light pollution from Joburg and Pretoria. This was in the middle of the Magaliesberg Mountains, only an hour from Pretoria (Tim might post a 'metoo' pic) - Emil
I also like it Emil. Great shot!
All you have to do now is copy and paste all the little light trails from the sky into the water - exactly where they should be mind ;-)

Ha ha... I never do that Neil...me, use photoshop to manipulate...never ;)
Emil
I remember endless discussions over Gino's pizzas and Rat drafts on where the lines for digital manipulation were drawn. Times have changed and we've moved on to discussions via 3G and ADSL and how to add light trails ... welcome to the digital age. Looking forward to seeing everyone's latest images!
